Who are they ?

"WWF or World Wildlife Fund is the leading conservation organization in the world. Born in Switzerland in 1961, she is known for the panda logo and has a presence in more than 100 countries"
(WWF Mexico, 2016)

Among its goals, it supports the recovery and growth of populations of the most important species from an ecological, economic and cultural point of view. This focuses, among others, on the great African apes, the African rhinos, the Asian big cats, the giant panda, the sea turtles, the marine cetaceans and the polar bear.

It also promotes the protection and sustainable management of the most biologically important natural places on Earth.

His principles:

• Search for dialogue with all social sectors and avoid unnecessary conflicts.
• Offer conservation solutions through the combination of field projects, political and economic initiatives, training and education.
• Involve local communities and indigenous peoples in the planning and execution of field programs, respecting their cultural and economic needs.
• Build alliances with other organizations, governments, businesses and communities to improve their effectiveness.
• Develop activities profitably and effectively and apply the funds of its suppliers with the maximum responsibility for management.
